Bensheim / Hamburg, Oktober 18, 2018. The implementation of the telematics infrastructure (TI) laid down in the E-Health Act poses enormous challenges for hospitals and doctors. They are required to buy new and approved card readers and connectors which are then implemented to link them to their own branch software and to the health insurance companies. The IT service providers Concat AG and akquinet AG are currently the only providers who can offer a telematics connector solution as a data center service. This solution consists of a connector farm where several connectors are installed in a server cabinet and managed by a monitoring software.
